My family stumbled into Yua for a late 3:15p lunch on a Friday. We had the dedicated attention of a host who gave off a vibe of being one of the owners. Our dishes were timed properly - we never waited too long for anything - and we were sat right away. A couple showed up to dine in around 3:45p. The edamame preparation was simple, but tasty: steamed and salted, it was easy to devour. All of our party opted for ramen variants with thin noodles, which the menu calls out separately from thick noodles. I wish I had enjoyed my green curry ramen more. I've never seen this on a menu and I was feeling adventurous. The chicken broth had a strong allium flavor and didn't have the umami to back it up. On top of that, my noodles were definitely thin. I prefer a bit more chew, so if I went back I'd focus on the thick noodles. That said, we ate literally everything we ordered.

The best ramen in Washington!! My wife ordered the vegan ramen and I got the Kimchi ramen, it was incredible! The prices are great and the costumer service is friendly and inviting! The restaurant feels like you're eating in someone's home, the ambiance is fantastic!

The chicken karaage was fresh and tasty with a side of rice. Food came out quick and the server was very attentive. Been here multiple times and they have never disappointed!

Second time going here after about a year. I am so glad I was reminded of this place for ramen. it would be my go to for Ramen if I lived closer. I have no complaints. Everything was above average regarding flavor, value, and service. What is also pleasant is that it hasn't ever been loud or busy, which is perfectly fine with me. I would suggest this little hole in the wall for a date night or catching up with a friend.

Every time I've been to Yua, it has been a fantastic experience. They have the best ramen in the area. Their location has ample parking, is always very clean, and staffed with very nice, very thoughtful staff. Iljun is always amazing, one of the best servers I've ever had anywhere. Her attention to detail is fantastic and she's so sweet that it's impossible to be in a bad mood there. The food is always delicious and in all of my trips there, I've never had a bad dish or bad experience. The vibe there is great and they are usually playing soft jazz or piano music. I live further away now, but I will go out of my way to go to Yua. I wish I could give them 6 stars!

The most delicious ramen you can buy! We eat a LOT of ramen and this is THE BEST EVER! We got black garlic and the broth is smooth as silk, with depth of flavor without being too salty. The honey garlic Chicken Karage is moist and tender and it isn't a big portion big but it was perfect! We can for the okinomiyaki, because you can't get this almost any other place. It was light, fluffy, and had a good flavor. Was fun to try. The server is a sweetheart. The restaurant is beautiful with soothing music. All of it was very with the drive!!

Met a friend for a late lunch/ early dinner. I always love coming here for some authentic Japanese food that is reasonably priced. The atmosphere is somewhat quiet with the exception of a loud beeping type noise that happens at random I think. I was wondering if that's a signal to tell the waitress that some food is ready for pickup. Not sure. It was a bit annoying at first. I got used to it and just kept on talking. The decor is quaint. No tatami but you still get the feeling of being in a Japanese restaurant. The food is always fabulous. Today I ordered Okonomiyaki. It's' a pancake with all kinds of Japanese toppings. It's quite tasty, and small enough for a small appetite. As it got later in the day, more people arrived. Still not a noisy place. Great place for a small group to meet! I will return.

Yua Ramen in Edmonds WA is an authentic gem where they whip up broths so rich and noodles so springy, you'll be saying "konnichiwa" to flavor explosions in every bite. We tried their Black Garlic Miso and Spicy Tantan, the intense flavor without being salty is truly a great ramen experience! The lady who serves and does almost everything is super nice and attentive to guests. Even though the restaurant is small but the layout really works and we had plenty of space to enjoy our food. So much nicer than the outside appearance! It's easy to dismiss this place when walking along the outside. But don't let that fool ya. This place is legit! The setting is so relaxing and chill. Clean. Artwork is clean and interesting. Menu isn't filled with an insane amount of choices, but enough choices to make a decision more challenging. I ordered the Tonkatsu. The ramen tasted like it was homemade. Broth was amazing and not too salty. Medium boiled egg was balanced with seasoning and flavorful. Wifey ordered the Tofu fried rice and she ate her food faster than I did. I had a few bites and loved it! Not oily. Not salty. It was like...healthy and hearty without leaving you overstuffed. The proportions seem a bit on the smaller side of what most places will kick out. But honestly...I'm okay paying the price for quality over quantity. They had me understanding why quality can make one respect the dish. I feel like everything really tied in together from environment to content. Even the restrooms were nice! Yes I will come back and bring anyone with me!
